When I Cry

Father,

I find contentment in You. You are my Peace, Lord. You are my Source of true joy. When I am frustrated, struggling with the circumstances of life, You come to me, still my restless spirit, and take time to listen. Only a few moments in Your presence reminds me that I have all I need. Your love and care are more than enough. Thank You for providing all I need to live a peaceful and contented life. Amen (from Everyday Prayers for Everyday Cares for Women)

I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Philippians 4:11

  2. I am so glad you found me so that I could click over and discover your blog! That prayer is just beautiful and such a reminder to be content which is hard to do sometimes. Thank you for being so sweet and paying me the best compliment - that my home could be in a magazine. Oh Lordy, that just makes my day!!!

  3. This prayer is really timely for me right now--with DH laid off from work and very few responses coming in on his resume, we're feeling a lot of anxiety. This is a good reminder to me that we're really OK no matter what happens. Thanks so much for the nudge.
