The Drawer-Shelf Unit Is Complete

Louie spent a very large part of the day out in his shop making my drawer and shelf addition to my new sewing table. For those who don't know Louie, he is very particular, and refuses to just 'throw something together'. He wants it 'done right'. The $2 drawer we bought yesterday was what we used for the drawer body, but he needed to make a box for it to fit in. He used the box part of it to attach it to the table. He went to the hardware store and bought drawer slider hardware. He used oak from a long piece of oak I had and was not using. He didn't end up using the cupboard door, as it was too short. My sweetie ended up making a new drawer front, because he would have had to modify the original one, and he said it would be just as easy to build a new front, so that is what he did. I thought I had some more 'pulls', but couldn't find them, so I stole one from a cupboard door above my refrigerator. You can't see it is missing because there is a big plant on top of the refrigerator. Can you see the shelf he included in the drawer unit? That is for my sewing machine manual and whatever else might end up there.
It is almost attached here.Installed and fully functional.
Isn't it beautiful? It matches the top perfectly! It didn't end up being as short as we envisioned, but that's ok. I love the look of it, and Louie is pleased. I sure do love my Louie, and I KNOW he loves me!

25Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her 26 to sanctify her by cleansing her with the washing of the water by the word, 27 so that he may present the church to himself as glorious – not having a stain or wrinkle, or any such blemish, but holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27
