Louie is always telling me when I talk about making myself a new litter bag, that I should make it in 'this shape', or 'that shape' for whatever season it is, rather than just the traditional rectangle shaped ones I have been making, so today, I decided to try it. This is actually my second one. The first one is the same, except I used dark thread to sew around the top, and I didn't like the way it looked, so I changed to light thread, and I like this one much better. I could rip out the dark thread, but I won't. This one doesn't hang as square from the 'tab' as the first one does either, but it will be hanging out of my glove compartment door, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I did think it turned out cute though, and it should last me until 'mitten season' is over.
Louie was so right it looks fantastic in a shape. I never thought of that but now that opens up a whole new line for gift ideas. I hope the two of you have a joyous and a Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! The possibilities are endless! I hope that you and your husband have a truly blessed 2008.

The mittens would look cute hung from the fireplace instead of Christmas stockings....Maybe someone would fill them with goodies! Cute idea!
