So common sense won, and I said to myself, 'Self, you don't need a new Ipod! How about a 'skin' to make it pretty?' I started surfing again, and checked out out several internet sites that carried skins for the Generation 4 (which has a smaller display screen than the new ones, and it plays strictly music....no color, and no videos, but it suits me just fine.) My husband Louie has an Ipod too, so I asked him which one he wanted, and he picked one. I picked one too, and ordered them last week, and they came yesterday. His Ipod is at work, so I can't show you the 'real thing' but here is what his looks like. Here is a picture of my Ipod 'naked'. Who WOULDN'T want a pretty one? TADA! Here is a picture of my Ipod all 'PRETTY IN PINK'!
We also ordered the little window protector screens. It was a very small price to make Michelle happy and not jealous anymore. I apologize for my personal shortcomings. <=-/

My Ipod's Not Naked Anymore!
Ok...........I admit it. I was jealous. I am not usually a jealous person, and I am never a vicious jealous, just an 'I Wish I could have one' kind of jealous. Last week when Jen got her new PINK ipod, I wanted one! (This photo was 'borrowed' from Jen's blog, and it is Jen's Ipod Nano)It is SO CUTE! I dreamed of it, and 'lusted' for one, for about 36 hours. I surfed the internet to see what they were all about, then surfed Ebay to check out prices, and I found something I didn't know existed. I found 'SKINS' for Ipod Nanos, like Jen's new Ipod. Then I thought, 'If they make skins for Jen's ipod, then I wonder if they make skins for MY ipod?' My ipod is a few years old, but works wonderfully. It is the Generation 4 Ipod. I think it is the first Ipod without the raised controls. It is has 20 Gigs of space, and I haven't even used 5 Gigs yet! I have enough music on there, if it would stay charged, I could listen nonstop for over 3 days!

Oh...now it's so cute! If that's the worst of your personal shortcomings...you're doing way better than I am....
ReplyDeleteYeah, I really didn't view that as being jealous! You were just 'pink' with envy. Giggle. Heck, I LUST over your Bose!! It is WAYYYYY pretty. You're a lucky ducky!!
ReplyDeleteOh how funny, aren't we all the same... if someone has it we want it. Just like the PJ quilter DVD! The skin was just a small price to pay to have a pretty Ipod. Have fun with the new "dress".
ReplyDeleteOh how cute that makes it look. Heck I don't even have an ipod and if I did I wouldn't know what to do with it or how to work it. But if I had one I'd want a cute one too.
ReplyDeleteOh now I'm jealous. I haven't got an i-pod and after seeing Louie's I wnat that one ( stamps foot in tantrum)
ReplyDeletelove and hugs xxx
Ohh I would love an Ipod but I don't see one in my future...the new camera will have to do for now...you weren't jealous...you just needed an upgrade!
ReplyDeleteVery cool skin! I may need to order one for my iPod!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you don't have a naked ipod anymore.I do like the new skin you got.
ReplyDeleteI love all the little gadgety things you can do with Ipods now! I have a little case for mine that clips to my sweats or jacket for when I go walking--but it's no where near as cool as your pink "skin"!
