Do do do, lookin’ out my front door!

I added a few more things to my porch tonight.  I bought a decorative flag and some BIG industrial strength velcro circles, attached the flag to the siding on all four corners, and moved the wind chimes from the front part of the ceiling to the back corner to kind of balance things out.                                    028

I used thumb tacks to attach the teddy bear flag to the back of the Welcome To Our Porch sign, which added a little something to kind of fill in the empty space under the sign, and between the two chairs….032

…and I attached a small American Flag to the siding by the front door with velcro in the same way I did the bigger flag, but I only attached the two top corners.  It’s so small, if it blows a little with the wind, it won’t bother anything at all, and I know it won’t blow away.                  033

I told Louie now we need to get a couple solar lights to poke down in the rock bed in the planter. I don’t think we’ll probably be adding another slab of limestone…at least not this year. The solar lights will be just perfect for when we sit outside in the dark.

Looking backward….I forgot to blog on Friday when I was painting my rocking chairs and brick planter.  I am so happy I painted my chairs.  They have needed painting for a long time, and it didn’t take long at all.        chair 1 2                              I love the looks of them now, and I also love the new white planter box. It looks so much cleaner, and more modern than the old orange brick did.     001

Thanks for looking at my porch AGAIN….you are all wonderful friends….

be blessed,
