Oh What Fun We Had!

The Loose Tensions Quilters got back together today after having our summer vacation. Oh, how I missed those girls! We had three birthdays to celebrate, and we had lots of laughs.

This post is picture heavy, so be warned!

I helped Ronelle work on some Trauma and Abuse comfort blankets.

Patty worked on a beautiful quilt. Oh, she got so much done. Renea worked too, but I neglected to get pictures of her. Sorry Renea! Leslie showed us her Accuquilt Go Cutter, and everyone was jealous. The others worked on things too, but I was more interested in visiting!

This is only about half of Patty’s quilt top. It’s going to be HUGE! Isn’t it beautiful?

…And doing what I usually do after everyone leaves, I finally got busy. I made these two blocks! I am so excited. I’m going to make a pinwheel quilt!

Hope your day was fun too!

  1. I bet you girls did have a fun filled day...the giggles and stories that flowed...I suppose what is said there in the sewing area stays in the sewing area...the pinwheel quilt is going to be a pretty one.

  5. Oh this sounds and looks like so much fun! I wish I had a little group of people to teach me. I have been thinking of going to the Senior Center. They say there are lots of women who would teach me some things. I guess I will do that in my "down time"! lol

  10. Hi Michelle,

Looks like everyone had a blast! How nice that you all celebrate birthdays each month. :) Fellowship with other women is so important, and needed.

I love the previews of the quilts in progress. I'm sure they will be beautiful when finished!
