Last night after work, I put all the summer things from my porch in the shed, put away the garden hose, and brought up the snow blower, because according to the weather forecasts, the snow would be starting this afternoon. I worked until noon today, then I changed the clothing on my bear to a Santa suit, Louie brought the sleds up from the shed, and I put the wreath up, stood up Santa on the porch, hung up the snow couple, and put my bucket of wood on the porch, after I picked all the leaves that had gathered in the corners of the porch, and vacuumed it real good.
How’s that for timing? A few hours later, the snow began falling.
One half hour later, (and a load of laundry from the washer to the dryer), the snow is falling heavier and covering the ground.
Wonder how much we’ll get. I'm glad to know that I don’t have to be anywhere tomorrow if I don’t want to be, and I can ‘cozy in’ with the snow accumulating.
Have a great weekend, you all!
Be blessed,
Michelle
Perfect timing for sure!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Christmas on your front porch...I think I hear jingle bells in the back ground...no listening closer that is probably a sewing machine going with music playing...
Well you timed that pretty good LOL .I haven't even started decorating .Everything looks wonderful .Enjoy the snow but please keep it there,:-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute Michelle! I haven't put up the first decoration yet but I'm hoping to start this weekend. I can do without the snow to do it though. :) blessings, marlene

ReplyDeleteCute porch. Love the sleds and skates. We're heading in to Chicago tomorrow so am hoping it doesn't snow too much overnight to mess with those plans.

Hi Michelle!
ReplyDeleteThe snow sure does put you in the christmas spirit....we have yet to have any. That's okay with me though, after the first snow fall, I have had my fill lol.
I love what you did with the porch, such a cute display! :)
I do agree, it is always nice to have no where to go and just put on the christmas music, and have some hot chocolate....and stay warm!
Oh a day at home with snow on the ground. Sounds wonderful. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks lovely and very inviting. I have a few more things to put away on the porch and then I'm done too. Happy Holidays
