Wow! A blog post about US! Click The Sewing Machine Project logo below to read what Margaret Jankowski wrote about our visit last week to deliver the sewing machines!
I feel so totally blessed to be able to pass on machines that I ‘nurse back to health’ and know they will be loved. Thank you Margaret, for letting me be a part of your project.
A fair warning though….I already have seven more, and you are correct….’the giving is as much of a blessing as when someone receives a machine'. That’s just how it works!’ It’s very exciting for me, and I am VERY blessed!
I just love this ministry and your involvement with it, Michelle. I left a comment over there too :)

Who knew that a hobby you love so much could be used to be a blessing to someone else! I'm so happy for you! And thankful for those machines you so lovingly repair. I love to sew so much, I can only imagine how precious a gift this is to someone who might otherwise not be able to own one.

Bravo Michelle and Louie! I'm so proud of you for collecting, restoring and now giving so many sewing machines to help others. You truly are earth angels.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post Michelle - I'm so glad they wrote it for you! And what a great ministry. I see where some of those machines have come to the New Orleans area, near where I am now. :) blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteIt makes finding old sewing machines that much sweeter, doesn't it? =)
