Lower Living Room Rearranging

Remember when this corner looked like this?I did some furniture rearranging while Louie was working on the window, and for many hours after that. If you know me, I have to change things about a million times, things have to be 'balanced', and look 'just right'. Most times, I don't even know what I want myself, until I keep trying, and moving, and moving back, then moving it back the way it was. I'm not saying it is 'carved in stone' yet, but I did do some serious changing, and in the process, I made some more space. Jen and Cindy have both been here, so maybe they will be able to see what I did. I just LOVE making changes in my living spaces! (Ok, maybe I don't love DOING it, but I love it when it is finished).I moved the couch, the card catalog AKA 'Fat Quarter Storage', and the sewing machine cabinet which acts as an end table all on the far East wall. I also moved the black chair and ottoman to that side of the room as well. It used to be on the other side of the stack of vintage suitcases (each full of fabric) you see in the lower left hand corner of the next picture. The area to the left of Louie resting in his chair, is one of my sewing areas. There is lots more walking space now than there used to be. I guess you would have had to be here prior to the moving, to see the difference, but I like it. The doors, with the mirrors, with the bright flash are my closet bifold doors. they stay open all the time, because I have burgandy sheers on a spring rod, covering the opening, due to condensation (summer) and humidity (winter with the humidifier on the furnace) which sometimes gets in the closet if I close the doors. That closet is where I have two rows of huge clear drawers from floor to ceiling full of 'stash'. I think I better set up a date with a can of window and mirror cleaner tomorrow. Pictures show all kinds of flaws!

The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
