Changing a few words from an old John Denver song……..Hey, it's good to be back home again
Sometimes this old garage feels like a long lost friend
Yes, hey it's good to be back home again
I was prepared to wait another day or two before we drove on the driveway. The contractor picked up his cones this morning, and Louie whispered into my ear through my phone at noon, that he had driven and parked on the driveway, (like he was telling me a secret). I thought as long as he drove on it, so would I. I drove on it after work. It felt so good to drive into the garage and not have to ‘jump up’ over the edge of the garage floor. The transition was so smooth, and to drive off the street onto the driveway without slowing down to a snail’s pace so as to not scrape anything, was like a dream.
So that is the end of my driveway story. I promise no more pictures, or stories. Thanks for hanging with me through the excitement.
Be blessed,
Looks great! I bet your neighbors are some what jealous of this new look at your place.
ReplyDeleteLook fantastic Michelle .
ReplyDeleteI am so glad things went so smooth with your driveway. I enjoyed each blog and anytime you want to mention it or show more pictures, that is perfectly alright.
