Quilting My Pinwheel Quilt

This afternoon, I set up my quilter and quilted my pinwheel quilt, and when I finished that, I sewed the binding on. Click on photos to see a bigger picture.

I took this photo without the flash so the stitching would be easier for you to see.

I’m thinking some buttons ‘tied’ in the center of each pinwheel with embroidery floss would look pretty cute.

I even sewed the back of the binding down by hand, which was VERY difficult due to the dense fibers of the sheet, while I watched ‘Walk The Line’ on tv.  I’m sure my hands will yell at me when I wake up in the morning.

I love it, and I’m going to work on a table runner next with pinwheel blocks.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Be blessed!

  1. Love your quilt! Your piecing is far too good to cover up with buttons. Show off those matching centers with pride, my dear. :)

  3. I can't remember exactly what I said but I do know that I LOVE this quilt and I love the idea of the buttons on it. You amaze me how fast you can do a quilt.
