I’ve been planning for awhile what I would spend my bonus money on, and today I ordered my serger and a few books. I can’t wait to learn how to serge and fun ways to use my serger. (Any and all suggestions are WELCOME!) Click each picture for a description of the product.
I ordered the Singer Sewing with an Overlock book from eBay last week, and received it yesterday. I hope to know more about the serger before it arrives. (Click book for description and reviews.)
Merry Christmas to ME from DTI!

Good for you , enjoy
ReplyDeleteLucky you! One more machine to add to your collection! I've always wondered about a serger. Now you can fill me in.
ReplyDeleteHope you love your serger and learn all the great things there is to learn about serging. Then you can share with me. :)
ReplyDeleteI wondered what you were going to get! Have fun. :) I've had several but not a Singer. (Biggest tip -- don't unthread! Tie a knot & pull thru!!!)
ReplyDeleteI don't really use it for quilting but do serge around the outer edge of a quilt top before quilting if it ends in pieced edges, not a straight border.
That's one thing I never did get around to purchasing! Just as they were getting affordable, I got into quilting. I have a friend with two sergers and just go over there if I need something serged :-).
