Louie and I left for Madison, Wisconsin about 8:00 this morning with our ‘tail dragging’ from the weight of 17 sewing machines.
We arrived safely (and with no sparks flying from the bumper dragging the highway) about 10:30 am.
We unloaded the machines and hauled them up the steps to the storage room at The Sewing Machine Project headquarters.
Sadly, we didn’t get to see Margaret Jankowski, but I did bother her quite a few times by texting her.
Louie and I had lunch at Red Robin, and we did some junkin’, then we headed home, and were home by 5:00. I think it’s time for a nap!
Wonderful job!!!! I'm sure they were happy to see you.

I don't see machines I see the love and care you and Louie bring to others .Thank God for people like you two .
ReplyDeleteWonderful contributions! I'm sure those 17 machines will empower 17 grateful sewers [and more, if they share].
ReplyDeleteHope you found some fun treasures on your way home. (I'd be ready for a nap too!)
Wow! 17 machines! Woohoo! I'll think of you when we eat at Red Robin this Sunday, after church.
