Our quilt group got together today and we each made a market bag. Some of ours had pockets, and some didn’t. I bought more double faced quilted fabric.
It had been more than a month since we last got together, so there was lots of conversation and laughter.
Here are our market bags! Left to right: Kate’s, Margaret’s and Kt’s.
Leslie’s, Michelle’s, and Renea’s.
Patty’s, Ronelle’s, and Christie’s.
We didn’t have a fabric exchange, so no eye candy except for our bags.
I made another bag tonight for Ronelle’s daughter, (and my God Daughter), Sydney. Sydney picked the fabric and I sewed it for her.
Hope your day was as much fun as ours.
Have I ever told you I love my girlfriends?
Have a great Sunday!
UPDATE! Sunday afternoon: I made a bag for my friend Judy who loves Scottie Dogs and has a real live one just like this one.
Now I’m off to see if I can make a thread catcher/scrap bag to hang on my quilter. Hope you are having a wonderful day!
Wonderful bag. I love the paisley of course and the long handle. Great Job! I'll take two! :-D
